The Korean Simulation Society is a union of experts in various academic fields such as industrial engineeringelectronic engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, social science, and management, and carry outhigher-level education and research through mutual exchanges between industry, academia, and research, and alsohelp industries. lt was founded in 1991 and become the active research scholar community thanks to the participationand efforts of past executives and members. The society not only conducts simulation research in the fields of manufacturing, logistics, information and communications, transportation, medical care, national defense, finance, andconsulting, but also researches in the areas of smart factory construction, lCT convergence networks, social simulation, big data, artificial intelligence, and digital twins, which are currently hot issues.
