The Beijing Simulation Center was established in April 1991 and was a key construction project during the'Seventh Five-Year Plan" period of China. lt marked that China's simulation technology ranked among the advancedlevels in the world. After more than thirty years of construction and development, the Beijing Simulation Center nowpossesses multiple innovation platforms such as national key laboratories and national engineering research centers.It is a research center for complex system simulation technology, a simulation experiment center, and a communication center for simulation technology at home and abroad. A large number of basic and applied studies have beencarried out in core advantageous fields such as basic support technology for simulation, system simulation andsystem-of-systems simulation. lt has made significant contributions to promoting the development of system simula-tion technology in China.
