The Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), established in 2000, is a private, international, andcomprehensive research institute located in Macau SAR, China. lt has become the largest comprehensive universityin Macau. The university hosts three national-level research platforms: the State Key Laboratory of Quality Researchin Chinese Medicine, the State Key Laboratory of Lunar and Planetary Sciences, and the National Observation andResearch Station of Coastal Ecological Environments in Macau. Additionally, over 20 major research institutes andcenters have been established, carrying out strategic, interdisciplinary, and cutting-edge research in various fields.

The university has conducted mathematical modeling and simulations on issues such as smart manufacturindsystem scheduling, traffic signal timing control in urban transportation networks, and unmanned vessel missiorscheduling. In recent years, MUST published over 30 high-impact journal papers and developed manufacturing scheduling software systems, which have been successfully applied in multiple manufacturing and remanufacturing enterprises in Singapore.
