5月20日下午，北京航空航天大学中西智能学院（Beihang Valencia Polytechnic Institute，BVPI）院长徐晔、西方院长David López Pérez一行到访亚洲仿真联盟（ASIASIM）与国际仿真技术科创中心。亚洲仿真联盟理事长、国际仿真技术科创中心主任张霖与秘书长翁敬农代表全体工作人员及教师对代表团的到来表示热烈欢迎，双方围绕人才培养、学科建设、仿真技术、国际合作及产业协同等核心议题展开深入座谈，并参观了中心办公与科研环境。
On the afternoon of May 20, XU Ye, Chinese Dean of Beihang Valencia Polytechnic Institute (BVPI), Spanish Co-Dean David López Pérez, and their delegation paid a visit to Asia Simulation Federation (ASIASIM) and International Innovation Center for Simulation Technology. ZHANG Lin, President of ASIASIM and Director of the International Innovation Center for Simulation Technology, and WENG Jingnong, Secretary-General of ASIASIM, extended a warm welcome to the delegation on behalf of all staff and faculty. Both sides held in-depth discussions on talent cultivation, discipline development, simulation technology, international cooperation, and industrial collaboration, followed by a tour of the center's office and research facilities.

座谈会上，国际仿真技术科创中心主任、亚仿联理事长张霖教授系统介绍了中心及亚仿联的发展历程、仿真技术战略布局、科研平台建设、人才培养体系及国际合作网络，重点展示了建模仿真、数字孪生、人工智能、元宇宙及具身智能等前沿领域的最新成果与进展。张霖主任指出，国际仿真技术科创中心与中西智能学院同处杭州国际创新研究院校园内，学科专业相近、国际合作基础好，加强工作协同和合作发展是国新院的要求，又天时、地理、人和，我们的交流可以常态化、机制化。
During the meeting, Professor ZHANG Lin, Director of the International Innovation Center for Simulation Technology and President of ASIASIM, systematically introduced the development history of the Center and ASIASIM, the strategic layout of simulation technologies, construction of scientific research platforms, talent training system and international cooperation network. He highlighted the latest achievements and advances in cutting‑edge fields including modeling and simulation, digital twin, artificial intelligence, metaverse, and embodied intelligence. Director ZHANG Lin pointed out that the International Innovation Center for Simulation Technology and Beihang Valencia Polytechnic Institute (BVPI) are both located on the campus of Hangzhou International Research Institute for Innovation. Boasting similar academic disciplines and a solid foundation for international cooperation, closer coordination and collaborative development between the two sides is required by the Hangzhou International Research Institute for Innovation. Favorably endowed with right timing, geographical advantages and human support, exchanges between us can be regularized and institutionalized.

Chinese Dean XU Ye and Spanish Co-Dean David López Pérez introduced the institute's mission and development vision respectively. Focusing on artificial intelligence, embodied intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, and communication intelligence, BVPI features aligned training for Chinese and international science and engineering students, with English-medium instruction throughout. The institute is committed to cultivating high-level interdisciplinary research talents with an international perspective who meet the needs of the intelligent era — a mission highly consistent with the strategic direction of ASIASIM and the International Innovation Center for Simulation Technology.
双方在课程共建、实践教学、实验室建设、联合科研、产业项目及国际学术交流等领域达成多项合作共识，为后续深度合作奠定了坚实基础。
Both sides reached consensus on multiple areas of cooperation, including co-developed curricula, practical teaching, joint laboratory construction, collaborative research, industrial projects, and international academic exchanges, laying a solid foundation for future in-depth collaboration.

北京航空航天大学中西智能学院（Beihang Valencia Polytechnic Institute，简称BVPI）是北京航空航天大学和西班牙瓦伦西亚理工大学合作举办的非独立法人中外合作办学机构，于2025年12月经教育部正式批准成立，是国内首个联合西班牙高校设立、覆盖本硕博完整学历体系的中外合作办学机构，将于2026年9月迎来第一届新生入学。
Beihang Valencia Polytechnic Institute (BVPI) is a non-independent legal person Sino-foreign cooperative education institution jointly established by Beihang University and the Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain. Officially approved by the Ministry of Education in December 2025, it is the first Sino-foreign cooperative education institution in China established in partnership with a Spanish university that offers a complete academic system covering undergraduate, master's and doctoral programs. The institute will welcome its first cohort of students in September 2026.
学院聚焦人工智能、具身智能、制造智能、通信智能、航空智能等前沿领域，以“中外理工科学生趋同培养”和全英文授课为办学特色，开展本科、硕士、博士学历教育，办学总规模为1500人（含国际学生500人）。
Focusing on cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence, embodied intelligence, manufacturing intelligence, communication intelligence and aerospace intelligence, the institute features "aligned training for Chinese and international science and engineering students" and English-medium instruction. It offers undergraduate, master's and doctoral degree programs with a total planned enrollment of 1,500 students, including 500 international students.

代表团在张霖理事长、翁敬农秘书长等的陪同下，参观了亚洲仿真联盟与国际仿真技术科创中心的办公区、成果展示区及实验室环境，深入了解平台运行机制、科研进展与技术应用场景，进一步加深了对双方合作潜力的认识与理解。
Accompanied by President ZHANG Lin and Secretary-General WENG Jingnong, the delegation toured the office area, achievement exhibition area, and laboratory facilities of ASIASIM and the International Innovation Center for Simulation Technology, gaining an in-depth understanding of the platform's operational model, research progress, and technology application scenarios, and further deepening their appreciation of the potential for bilateral cooperation.
本次到访进一步深化了北航中西智能学院与亚洲仿真联盟、国际仿真技术科创中心的战略合作关系。未来，双方将以数智科技+国际教育+产业创新为战略抓手，在人才联合培养、科研协同创新、高端学术交流及成果转化等领域持续深耕，共同推动中西学术交流与仿真技术的高质量发展。
This visit further strengthened the strategic partnership between Beihang Valencia Polytechnic Institute and Asia Simulation Federation / International Innovation Center for Simulation Technology. Going forward, both parties will leverage "digital intelligence + international education + industrial innovation" as their strategic focus, deepening cooperation in joint talent cultivation, collaborative research and innovation, high-level academic exchanges, and technology transfer, jointly advancing China-Spain academic collaboration and the high-quality development of simulation technology.
