The Korean Simulation Society is a union of experts in various academic fields such as industrial engineering, electronic engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, social science, and management, and carry out higher-level education and research through mutual exchanges between industry, academia, and research, and also help industries. It was founded in 1991 and become the active research scholar community thanks to the participation and efforts of past executives and members. The society not only conducts simulation research in the fields of manufacturing, logistics, information and communications, transportation, medical care, national defense, finance, and consulting, but also researches in the areas of smart factory construction, ICT convergence networks, social simulation, big data, artificial intelligence, and digital twins, which are currently hot issues.
